Job Overview

The HOME Restaurant in Maple Ridge is seeking a part time team member to assist with the preparation of our famous homemade soups and pies amongst other things.

Duties

-Taking care of the full baking job when our main baker requires a day off.

-Prepare and bake cakes, pies and other desserts according to recipes and quality standards.

-Preparing soups, cutting vegetables, slicing meats and various other food prep.

-Cleaning station and equipment

-Assisting the other cooks and kitchen team with any of their duties as required.

-Work efficiently to meet productions schedules and customer deadlines
Proven experience as a Prep Cook or similar role in a restaurant or kitchen setting

Qualifications
Knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
Familiarity with food handling and preparation
Must be available weekends
Reliable, punctual and able to work
Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients and decorating methods




Ability to work in fast paced setting and manage multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
