We are looking to hire a phlebotomist for recent community laboratory. We will be accepting walk-ins for blood draws and urine samples on Mondays to Fridays from 8am to 4:30pm and Saturdays 8am to 12pm.

Preference is for candidates who have previous experience working in community laboratory.

Responsibilities
Collect, label, sort and prepare blood and urine samples from from patients
Be comfortable working with adult and pediatrics patients
Verifying patient information before taking samples
Properly labeling the medical specimen for pickup by the lab
Clean and maintain medical laboratory and medical laboratory equipment

Qualifications
Robust patient care skills with a focus on pediatric populations
Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and procedures
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to laboratory settings
Familiarity with laboratory protocols and practices
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Experience
phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)
