Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and personalized care plans
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently
Assist the dentist during examinations with professionalism and precision
Manage patient records using CLEARDENT dental software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Maintain a clean,
organized treatment area following all infection control protocols and CRDHA standards
Qualifications
Valid ALBERTA licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials
Proven experience working in a dental office environment is an asset, New grads are welcome
Proficiency in CLEARDENT dental practice management software is an asset, willing to train
Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Demonstrated commitment to patient care, safety, and confidentiality
