Key Roles and Responsibilities

Researcher in Hydrometallurgy, or Separation Sciences and/
Research: Separation & Processing Sciences: REE, Li, Au, Ni, Co, critical and battery materials, ceramics.
Perform process engineering tasks on Hydrometallurgical aspects of projects, in a variety of commodities.
Design of experiment to meet requirements of proposed program.
Analysis of data, communicate and determination of direction of testing program.
Upon completion of the program, analyze and present the data in a format suitable for presentation in a final report.
Project Management
Eligible for MITACS support

Qualifications and Experience
Recently completed a Ph.D.



within the last 5 years in materials science & engineering, chemical engineering
Experience in scoping and management of metallurgical testwork programs (benchscale, pilot scale, on-site testing)
Hands-on experience; experimental work
