Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take and develop digital radiographs (X-rays) to assist in accurate diagnoses
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency
Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
Provide support for orthodontic procedures and pediatric patients to ensure comfort and compliance
Maintain a clean,



sterile environment by following infection control protocols diligently
Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding and comfort throughout their visit

Skills
Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Experience with dental assisting tasks and patient care coordination
Robust customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
Previous experience working in a busy dental office environment is highly preferred
