Position Summary

We are looking for a full time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The role involves assisting with prescription filling and day-to-day pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who thrives in a quick-paced environment and provides excellent customer service. Pharmacy experience is an asset. Afternoon and Saturday availability is required, along with a commitment to long-term employment. Preference will be given to candidates who live nearby.

What you will do
Receive prescriptions from patients, assess prescriptions for completeness and accuracy.
Assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy (including but not limited to answering phone calls, communicating with colleagues and patients, and arranging deliveries).
Manage inventory by ordering, receiving orders and organizing inventory.
General housekeeping including filing,



maintaining filling supplies (e.g. vials stocks), keeping a clean neat dispensary, and keeping a safe work environment.
Other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager/the pharmacist on duty.

Qualifications
Experience in fillware is an asset.
Fluency in English.
Able to work under pressure in a dynamic workplace and within a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent computer skills.
