As the Issues Manager for the Alberta Emergency Management Agency, you will oversee issue prioritization and responses, closely collaborating with upper management.
This full time role entails ensuring the agency's readiness for emergencies by analyzing issues and facilitating decision-making processes efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate issue resolution strategies and research
Provide updates to the executive team on emergent events
Manage information flow aligned with government objectives
Supervise cooperative systems for tracking action requests
Serve as an advisor during significant emergencies Requirements:
University degree related to Public Administration or similar
At least 4 years of experience in relevant fields
Solid analytical skills for preparing briefing materials
Understanding of government protocols and policies
Competency in utilizing administrative software tools Elevate emergency management practices at AEMA, ensuring safety and responsiveness across communities in Alberta.
