greasing, etc.Ensure equipment inspection, maintenance, and daily inspection documentation is completed and up to dateESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTSEducation & ExperienceEquipment operator training/certification appropriate to the equipment being operated3 to 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, skid steers, and crawler tractorsExperience working on powerline, utility, transmission, or related infrastructure projects is considered a strong assetValid Ontario Class G driver's licence is considered an assetValid Ontario Class AZ driver's licence with Z (air brake) endorsement is considered an assetApplicable crane operator certification/licensing or lifting equipment training is considered an assetSkills & AbilitiesProven experience operating loaders, excavators, and skid steersExperience operating telehandlers, graders, dozers, Lodrils, vibratory hammers, and other heavy equipment is considered an assetAbility to read and follow site plans and work safely in active construction environmentsStrong understanding of equipment operating manuals, inspections, and preventative maintenance requirementsExperience supporting powerline, transmission, utility, or civil construction projects is considered an assetAbility to work effectively as part of a construction crew while maintaining a strong safety focusForbes Bros.
