We are seeking a Part-Time Clinical Assistant to join our busy clinic in Kitchener.

Shifts:

Thursdays 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Other Shifts As Needed (Covering Vacation, Sick Days, Clinic Need, Etc)

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Cleaning and setup of the treatment rooms, sterilization of instruments, and maintaining podiatric equipment
Facilitating clinic workflow by bringing patients to rooms and communicating with practitioners and other staff members
Assisting with therapeutic modalities (i.e., shockwave, ultrasound, laser)
Assisting with the proper setup of rooms for routine and surgical procedures
May assist with answering the phones and emails, confirming next-day appointments
May assist with maintaining and updating patient records, scanning documents into patient files
May assist with ordering supplies and receiving incoming shipments
May assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining practitioner schedules
Greeting and signing in patients when they enter the clinic
May assist with managing billing for patients and their insurance companies
Other duties as required

This position is a focus on clinic assistant duties,



where you may have to assist at the front desk from time to time.

Proficient in computer and technology use, including Microsoft Office, emails, scanners, printers, etc.
