Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation process. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety while supporting the cooks and chefs in meal preparation.

Duties
Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients for meals.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations to maintain a protected working environment.
Support cooks during meal service by preparing ingredients and assembling dishes as needed.
Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management to ensure the kitchen is well-equipped for daily operations.
Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain hygiene standards within the kitchen area.

Requirements




Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A passion for the food industry and eagerness to learn about meal preparation techniques.
