The Manager Procurement

Goods and Services will oversee the procurement operations for various departments within the Government of Nunavut. Reporting to the Chief Procurement and Logistics Officer, you will ensure compliance with the Nunavut Agreement while providing expert guidance on purchasing protocols. Solid leadership is essential for managing the team and meeting client demands effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Scrutinize requisitions and negotiate procurement contracts
Identify optimal procurement strategies for various needs




Develop and maintain Standing Offer Agreements
Guide and educate departments on procurement processes
Monitor and support purchasing staff to resolve issues Requirements:
Degree in procurement or related disciplines
Minimum three years in public sector procurement
One year in a management role
Knowledge of Inuit communities is preferred
