Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and energetic Oil Burner Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining oil-burning equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Duties
Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on oil burners, boilers, and related heating equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes
Conduct maintenance tasks including cleaning, adjusting, and replacing components such as valves, pumps, and ignition systems
Weld or modify parts as needed to ensure proper operation and safety standards are met
Collaborate with plumbing teams to address water and fuel line issues associated with heating systems
Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams for accurate repairs
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards in HVAC,



plumbing, and mechanical repair

Qualifications
Proven experience as an Oil Burner Mechanic or in a similar mechanical maintenance role with a focus on boiler systems
Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, appliance repair, and construction experience related to heating equipment
Knowledge of heating system and combustion principles
Skilled in welding, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
Familiarity with boiler operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols
Mechanical knowledge of fuel delivery systems and ignition components is essential
Prior experience working with schematics and technical drawings is highly desirable
