Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them relax, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for every client.

Duties
Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities
Assess client conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns and explain treatment procedures
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress
Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend follow-up treatments as needed
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications




Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations
Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is preferred
Robust customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
Ability to listen attentively and tailor treatments to individual needs
Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is a plus but not mandatory
Commitment to maintaining professional ethics and ongoing education in massage therapy techniques
