and engineering specificationsLead the Civil Design Team as required through projectsProvide internal landscaping advice or coordinate with external landscape architects as sub-consultantsReview and investigate preliminary civil layout and engineering options during the development planning processCoordinate sub-consultants for planning, legal survey, geotechnical, and consultant servicesPreparation of cost estimates, tender contract documents, and engineering reportsPrepare conceptual and detailed design calculations, layouts, sketches, and specifications which meet Brandt's needs, and which comply with sound Engineering practices and standardsInvestigate field and design problems and prepare reportsPerform engineering analysis and develop test procedures, provide quality standards, and adherenceImplement and maintain quality control procedures. Review, evaluate, and improve upon engineering designs, drafting, schematics, and specificationsLiaise with clients, authorities, and contractorsProject cost monitoring and schedule control as requestedProvide feedback and advice regarding the technical and civil aspects of a projectComplete site inspections during construction phase, coordinate and follow-up on project issuesPerform the contract administration (CA) duties on the projects including attending meetings, travel as required, submittal reviews, supplemental instructions, price requests, site inspection reports, meeting minutes and all other aspects of the projectsAspire to continuous improvement, while mentoring,



monitoring, and supporting interdisciplinary project team membersCollaborate with other internal design departments (ie.
