Robertson LLP is looking for Legal Assistant to support a team of lawyers with a variety of legal and administrative tasks. The role entails supporting our paralegals and lawyers in file opening and management. The ideal candidate is highly organized, takes initiative, and is customer service oriented. Position Overview:

· File opening

· Draft, proofread, finalize, and send a variety of legal documents relating to multiple types of business and real estate transactions

· Ensure large volumes of documents and emails are saved to each file

· General administrative tasks including office and file management

Requirements:

· Post-secondary education from a recognized Legal Assistant or Paralegal program

· Experience with Lawyer Done Deal and Cosmolex is an asset but not required

· Highly reliable and possesses qualified demeanor





· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office programs

· Excellent communication skills, written and verbal

· Exhibits superb attention to detail and is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work

· Ability to organize, prioritize work and meet deadlines with a high degree of personal initiative

· Must be able to handle confidential information in an ethical and skilled manner

· Ability to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently

· Solid customer service and relationship building skills

· Readily adapt to changing priorities and effectively work in a changing and high-volume work environment

· Possess problem solving skills with a proactive mindset

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
