PART-TIME LINE COOK / DISHWASHER

Rustic Cosmo Cafe – Parkdale, Toronto

Rustic Cosmo Cafe is looking for an experienced, reliable Line Cook / Dishwasher to join our kitchen team.

We’re a busy neighbourhood brunch cafe and are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a rapid-paced kitchen, takes pride in their work, and can jump in wherever needed.

Position Details
Part time: 12–15 hours per week ( Room to grow )
Weekend availability is required
Daytime/brunch shifts
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team or independently

Requirements
Previous brunch/breakfast line cook experience is required
Valid Food Handler Certificate
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace
Able to manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable with dishwashing, cleaning, prep, and general kitchen duties
Able to keep a clean, organized and food-safe workstation

Responsibilities




Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch menu items
Work the line efficiently during busy service
Assist with food prep and restocking
Wash dishes, cookware and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Work cooperatively with both kitchen and front-of-house staff
