Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook. Weekend Shift. 7am-330pm. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant standards
Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen setting
Assist with food plating and garnishing for service
Maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring freshness and safety
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by performing various prep tasks as needed
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations




Assist in cleaning and organizing workstations, equipment, and utensils

Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a quick-paced environment
Strong understanding of meal preparation and food industry best practices
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Familiarity with serving, food service operations, and kitchen equipment operation
Attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
