The Estimator plays a key role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, coordinating with insurance companies, and keeping customers informed throughout the repair process. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills in English, technical knowledge of collision repair terms, and the ability to balance accuracy with efficiency. We appreciate high-quality service.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesWrite complete and accurate estimates/supplements in accordance with company and insurance guidelinesTake clear, detailed photos of vehicle damage, while liaising with clients on story of vehicle collision or details of damageOrder parts, confirm availability, and ensure correct discounts are applied from vendorsTrack and document vehicle progress through the repair process and update statuses in the production scheduleAssign labour to technicians, ensuring efficiency and accuracyCommunicate with customers about the collision repair process, insurance claims, timelines,



and repair techniquesConduct daily updates with the front office team to ensure accurate information is providedReview and finalize supplements before vehicle deliveryConfirm insurance supplements are properly scanned and attached in the estimating systemVerify all labour has been assigned and all parts have been received/invoicedPerform quality control checks before delivery to ensure all repairs meet company standardsDeliver vehicles, explain repairs completed, and address customer questionsPrepare and upload files for final billing, ensuring proper documentation and notes are completedPerform other estimating and support tasks as directed by managementRequirementsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailCollision auto body repair or estimating experienceStrong written and spoken English communication skills (required)Knowledge of insurance company procedures and requirementsProficiency with estimating software (Mitchel Connect, Qapter)Proficiency with Client Dealer Management System software (Bodyshop Connect)Ability to perform parts look up and confirmation with VIN numbersAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a quick-paced environmentExperience estimating for high-end vehicles is an assetSome qualifications are non-compulsory.
