Join a growing, institutional-quality investment platform where you can build meaningful client relationships and deliver differentiated private market solutions.As a Director, Private Capital Markets, you will build and expand a portfolio of individual investors, providing access to private real estate opportunities traditionally reserved for institutional clients.Reporting to the VP, Private Capital Markets, you will be empowered to build your book, deepen client relationships, and provide tailored wealth solutions, with the backing of a respected and fast-scaling firm.This role is ideal for professionals from retail banking, private banking, wealth management, insurance or investment advisory looking to:Expand beyond traditional products (mutual funds, GICs, public markets)Build deeper, advisory-led relationshipsBe rewarded with strong earning growth for performance and client success*This is an on-site opportunity based out of our Head Office in Burlington, ONWhat You'll DoBuild & Grow a Client PortfolioManage and grow a portfolio of individual investors across the mass affluent and high-net-worth spectrumLeverage firm-generated leads to grow assets under managementCreate long-term client relationships grounded in trust and performanceDeliver Holistic Investment AdviceUnderstand clients' financial objectives, risk tolerance, and portfolio needsPosition private real estate investments as part of a diversified wealth strategyGuide clients through the full investment lifecycle, from onboarding to ongoing portfolio reviewsDrive Business DevelopmentProactively source new client opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreachPartner with internal teams to deliver coordinated,
high-quality client experiencesRepresent the firm at client events and industry functionsMaintain Regulatory ExcellenceEnsure all client interactions meet Exempt Market Dealer (EMD) / securities regulatory standardsConduct investor suitability assessments with diligence and integrityMonitor macroeconomic, real estate, and capital markets trendsTranslate insights into meaningful conversations with clientsWhat You Bring:You likely come from banking or wealth environments, such as:Private Banker or Relationship ManagerWealth Associate or Client AdvisorAnd you offer:5–10 years of client-facing experience in financial services, insurance, or wealth managementDemonstrated success building and growing client relationships / portfoliosStrong foundation in investment concepts, financial planning, and portfolio constructionA consultative, advice-first approach to client engagementProven ability to earn trust with high-value clientsCredentialsCSC or IFSE (EMP) required (or willingness to complete prior to start)Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)The expected annualized base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 plus uncapped commission. The actual base salary offered will take into consideration factors including, but not limited to, the individual's skill, experience, and relevant education or training.Predictive Index AssessmentsAs part of our hiring process, candidates complete two short assessments from Predictive Index:A Behavioural Assessment (5–10 minutes, untimed)
