Duties:
Assemble, cook, prepare and package a variety of ready to eat food items in a timely manner.
Complete all necessary closing duties each night to ensure the deli department is clean and food safe.
Stocking & facing retail items
Baking and packaging pastries
Receiving and tracking retail items and their best before dates.
Maintain deli cleanliness standards, and keeps products looking up to Urban Grocer Standards
Performs other related duties as required.

Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs.

Other Responsibilities include:
Provide feedback for continuous improvement
Ability to work independently and self-motivated. Working alone is frequent, and the priorities and needs of the department are to be met without supervision.
Practice food safety standards in compliance with the Vancouver Island Health Authority.
