Walsh Construction is seeking journeyman carpenters, apprentices and labourers.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenters/apprentice to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and/or commercial framing, concrete forming, flatwork, a solid work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a crew.

Responsibilities
Construct, install, and repair structural wood frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials accurately
Install floor systems, wall panels, and roof trusses
Ensure structures are level, square, and compliant with building codes
Operate hand tools, power tools, and framing equipment safely
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Collaborate with supervisors and other trades on-site

Requirements
Carpentry or concrete experience (1 years preferred)




Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Own hand tools and PPE
Robust attention to detail and safety practices

Preferred Qualifications
Carpentry certification or apprenticeship training
Experience in residential/commercial construction
Fall protection or safety certifications
