Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Support Worker to provide essential support and assistance to our 11-year-old daughter, who was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (level 3)and GDD in our home setting.

As a Home Support Worker, you will deliver personalized care, promote independence, and foster a protected and nurturing workplace.

Duties
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene to promote comfort and independence
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking
Perform light cleaning and household chores to maintain a safe and organized living space
Engage in teaching activities that encourage social interaction, learning, or skill development
Provide companionship and emotional support during outings and other curricular activities
Help with medication administration as prescribed

Qualifications




Prior experience working with children disabilities is highly desirable
Strong cooking and meal preparation skills to meet diverse dietary requirements
Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
Compassionate caregiving attitude with excellent communication skills
Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Must be able to handle physical tasks such as lifting

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
