Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker over 19 (due to liquor license requirements) to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences in a quick-paced cafe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. This role offers an prospect to develop hospitality skills and grow within the food industry, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities
Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems
Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards and procedures
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
Assist in food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, assembling orders, and garnishing plates
Provide friendly guest services by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring satisfaction
Manage time effectively to ensure timely order fulfillment during busy periods




Follow all food handling protocols to ensure safety and quality standards are met

Requirements
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to handle food safely, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Experience with food preparation, serving, or kitchen operations is desirable
Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting within the food industry
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends is required
Serve it Right Certificate will be requiried (will train)
