We seek a Food Safety and Compliance Specialist to guarantee that imported food meets all Canadian regulations. This detail-oriented role includes supplier audits and supporting food safety programs. You will play a vital role in maintaining food safety standards throughout the organization.

This includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, approving product labels, and managing preventive control plans. You will also coordinate audits and inspections while nurturing supplier relationships. Your ability to communicate regulations clearly to all stakeholders will be essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all food products comply with Canadian regulations
Approve product labels, including allergen information




Maintain Preventive Control Plans and other food safety measures
Conduct internal audits and manage corrective actions
Develop positive supplier and stakeholder relationships Requirements:
Degree in Foods & Nutrition, Biological Sciences, or equivalent
At least 2 years in food safety or regulatory roles
Solid knowledge of Canadian regulation and supplier audits
Proficient in MS Office applications
Solid analytical, communication, and organizational skills Drive compliance and enhance food safety with your expertise.
