As a sales associate you will enjoy working with our local small businesses, and our wonderful customer base. The position is equally about creating the perfect Duck&Dodo experience for our customers, and also day to day administrative tasks that ensure the Duck&Dodo moves along smoothly.Responsibilities and DutiesEnsure our customers have a positive and lasting impression of their experienceWelcoming, engaging andconnecting withour customers in-store, by phone and onlineLearning and educating about makers' products and sharing your expertise with customersAssisting customers locate and select products by making customer specific suggestions to encourage product purchasesResolving issues effectively at store level in a timely and positive mannerProcessing point of sale transactions quickly and accuratelyEnsuring the store is visually appealing and contributes to the Duck&Dodo standards through product presentation, replenishment,



store housekeeping, store maintenance and visual displaysResponsible for store opening/closingWork the vendors in the store to ensure their items are stickered correctly, and payouts are handed out.Educating yourself on our products, and small businesses we have in our storeactively working in our social media platforms, and website product managementQualificationssome experience in customer service.Experience with the shopify website, and POS platformknowledge of the instagram platform would be an assetsome post secondary schooling in either interior decorating, or fashion merchandising will be an assetcomputerskills, with excel, shopify, wordcash experience an assetNote:this is a part time job with hours ranging from 10-25 a weekAvailabilityweekend availability a must, with flexibilityavailable to work both our locations 270 Adelaide st s, and 900 king street
