Duties
Prepare and mix doughs for a variety of bread and baked goods, adhering to established recipes and quality standards
Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, proofers, and packaging machines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
Package baked products carefully for retail display or customer orders, ensuring freshness and presentation
Follow all food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredients and supplies,



notifying management of shortages or issues

Experience
Proven experience as a bread baker or mixer in a commercial bakery
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques specific to baking and bread making
Familiarity with bakery equipment operation and maintenance
Experience with cake decorating is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued
Background in the food industry with an understanding of food safety standards and procedures
Excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or assisting with retail sales
Prior kitchen experience in a fast-paced setting that emphasizes quality food handling and preparation
