The incumbent will ensure efficient restaurant operation and maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.Job duties are as follows but not limited to:Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant including planning, organising, and controlling various aspects of daily operations of the restaurantEvaluate the day-to-day operation as per company policy and protocols set by A & W restaurantsPlan, direct, and supervise the preparation and cooking of food, and the proper use of equipment in a safe and sanitary environmentAssist in the responsibility for restaurant outcomes which include but are not limited to increased sales, profitability,



and employee retentionImplement marketing promotional campaignsOrder supplies and verify delivered food supplies for quantity and qualitySupervise food storage and maintain inventory controlOversee building maintenance, cleanliness and securityDirect the overall sanitation procedures for conformity to prescribed policies, procedures, and regulationsWorking to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulationsPreparing reports and other performance analysis documentationConducting audits according to A&W Restaurant guidelines to ensure food service quality, environmental safety, and infection controlRecruit new staff, train and develop existing staff, inspiring and encouraging staff to achieve targets.Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employeesEvaluate and verify employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.Identify staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtainedReport to and attend regular meetings with area managers or head office representativesOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Post-Secondary Education in a related disciplineMinimum 1 year of previous restaurant or QSR management experience.Additional Job Requirements:Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs, including early morning, afternoon and evening shifts
