We are looking for a reliable, experienced and detail-oriented full-time housekeeper and household assistant to care for our private home and separate kitchen studio on an acreage in Foothills County, near Calgary and Okotoks. This is a permanent Monday-to-Friday position, approximately 9 am–4 pm.

Responsibilities include
Complete cleaning of the main house and separate kitchen studio
Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, basement and stairs
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping surfaces
Cleaning appliances, counters, backsplashes, windows, mirrors, glass, baseboards and window sills
Changing bedding and washing, folding and putting away laundry and towels
Keeping cupboards, closets and household areas tidy and organized
Emptying garbage and recycling
Monitoring cleaning products and household supplies
Completing regular deep-cleaning and seasonal cleaning projects
Watering indoor and outdoor plants
Sweeping and tidying patios and outdoor living areas
Cleaning patio furniture and keeping it ready for use
Occasional errands, deliveries and other light household tasks





We have two friendly dogs who are a big part of our home, so applicants must genuinely like dogs and be completely comfortable working around them. There is no childcare involved. The ideal candidate is dependable, trustworthy, organized and able to notice what needs to be done without always being given a list. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining an exceptionally clean, comfortable and well-cared-for home.

Because we live on an acreage, applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and their own reliable vehicle. Previous qualified housekeeping or private household experience and strong references are required.

Job type: Full time, permanent

Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 9 am–4 pm

Pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience

Work location: In person in Foothills County, Alberta

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
