Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support construction, maintenance, or production activities. This position requires physical stamina and a willingness to work in various settings, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks on the job site.
Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals effectively.
Perform heavy lifting of construction materials and equipment
Operate and maneuver a wheelbarrow to transport materials around site
Assist with digging, trenching, and other ground preparation tasks
Conduct construction site cleanup, including debris removal and organization of tools and materials
Load and unload materials and supplies from trucks
Follow all health and safety regulations in office
Support skilled tradespeople as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools as needed for various tasks.
Follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.




Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition by cleaning and performing minor repairs.

Skills
Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of construction techniques or labor practices is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow directions accurately and work well within a team environment.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
Willingness to learn current skills and adapt to changing job requirements.

Working Conditions:
Outdoor construction sites in various weather conditions
Standing, lifting, and walking for extended periods
May require early mornings or extended hours depending on project needs

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 per hour

Gloucester, ON K1J 7S6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
