Assume a pivotal leadership role as Fire Chief in Whitby, overseeing comprehensive fire and emergency services for our vibrant community. Reporting to the CAO, your primary responsibilities will encompass managing all sections of Whitby Fire & Emergency Services.

Lead the operations and strategic initiatives of the Fire Department
Monitor compliance with fire safety legislation and municipal policies
Oversee staff training and comprehensive emergency management

Act as Chief Official concerning fire safety codes Requirements:
Relevant degree/diploma in Fire Services or related discipline
Minimum of 12 years in fire service with 5 in senior roles
Graduate of Ontario Fire College with required certifications
Advanced skills in firefighting, training, and prevention
