Responsibilities
Schedule and dispatch calls using transportation systems, ensuring optimal routing and arrival times
Communicate clearly and professionally with drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal teams via multi-line phone systems, maintaining excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Maintain organized records of dispatch activities, call details, and incident reports.
Experience
Proven experience in transportation management systems, or dispatching
Familiarity with telephone skills
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy in typing, hand writing and record keeping
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
