Duties
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently throughout your shift
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
Assist with food handling tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen team with basic food prep or ingredient setup
Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to uphold environmental standards
Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and maintaining hygiene protocols




Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
Adhere to safety guidelines related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage

Requirements
Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required—enthusiasm to learn is key!
Robust understanding of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling safety practices
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably
Excellent attention to detail to ensure all dishes are spotless and equipment is properly maintained
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support the busy kitchen environment
Basic knowledge of hospitality or food service operations is a plus but not mandatory
