Why this role exists

This is a new seat. Our Founder/CEO has owned product since day one, but no longer has the bandwidth — and it's slowing us down. We need someone who can take it over, earn his trust, and challenge his thinking with conviction.

Who you are

- A genuine eye for intuitive UX and UI design — "don't make me think" is how we judge every screen. There's no separate design function; that's you.
- You build real empathy with customers — and you know how to act on it.
- Technical aptitude is second nature. Our product lives in a niche, technical space (URL redirection, DNS, edge/CDN) — you pick up technical domains quickly.
- Experienced enough to walk into a room with our Founder, get up to speed on his thinking and know when to align and when to challenge.
- Strong instincts for decision-making when the data is limited — you often won’t have a statistically significant sample size to lean on.
- Outcome-focused, detail-oriented, and unafraid to ask "why".

What you'll do

- Own the product: define the roadmap, translate customer, market and business input into requirements, design the user experience and stay ahead of development cycles.
- Run customer and market discovery and partner closely with engineering to ship performant, well-scoped product increments.
- Design end-to-end UX/UI yourself with an emphasis on intuitive, low-friction workflows.
- Be accountable for what we build,



how it looks and works, and why — and the trusted steward of our Founder's vision.

Experience

Required

- 5 years in B2B SaaS as a product owner, or similar, ideally in a technical domain.
- Proven ability to earn trust with senior stakeholders and influence product direction — not just execute a backlog.
- A track record of running customer discovery and translating it into shipped product, not just research reports.
- Strong UX/UI instincts and product design principles, demonstrable through past work.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills (business English).

Valuable

- Hands-on experience writing code — even AI-assisted — enough to prototype, speak engineering's language fluently, or contribute directly when it counts.
- Solution architecture or technical sales experience to support customer-facing teams.
- First-hand experience in our ICP (IT/marketing ops/SEO teams managing link & domain infrastructure).
