Join Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist, focusing on trauma-informed care. This full-time, hybrid role serves clients aged 16+ affected by sexual violence. In this one-year maternity leave replacement position at ORCC, you will provide essential psychotherapy services aligned with organizational and skilled standards.

Your expertise will support the delivery of vital counselling services, ensuring equitable access to care for survivors. Your compassionate approach and clinical skills will help empower clients in their recovery journey. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver therapy rooted in trauma-informed methodologies
Maintain an active and compliant caseload
Conduct informative intake assessments for current clients




Ensure timely and accurate clinical records are kept
Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and group sessions Requirements:
Master’s degree in Counselling or related field
Current registration in positive standing with CRPO or OCSWSSW
At least two years of clinical experience preferred
Familiarity with trauma-focused therapies is beneficial
Excellent communication and organizational skills Play a crucial role in supporting Ottawa's survivors at ORCC while adhering to respectful, trauma-informed, and ethical practices.
