Valley Powdercoat is looking for a delivery driver/ shipping clerk to support our powder coating and metal fabrication facilities. Air breaks needed.

This position is responsible for the incoming and outgoing movement of products, loading and unloading our truck and managing deliveries to and from our customers. This is a hybrid position that includes being able to work in our shop wrapping skids or assisting with production needs.

This position is compensated according to experience and will be determined upon hiring. A class 5 licence is required along with a drivers abstract during time of interview.

RESPONSIBILITES:
Moving products and materials using an Forklift
Loading and unloading delivery truck with customer goods
Wrapping skids of powder coated parts and products
Ensuring packing slips and documentation is correct with each order
Documentation of each scheduled shipment and daily inspection checklists




Ensuring loads are properly secured and within the trucks legal weight capacities
The job will involve manual labour as well as forklift operation and is not all driving

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum one year experience driving professionally
Airbrakes
Minimum one year experience driving propane forklifts
Knowledge of load weight transfer and proper load securing
Positive Listening, organization and time management skills
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Must use secure lifting techniques
Must be able to regularly lift a minimum of 50lbs
Experience in handling and prioritizing multiple tasks
Ability to read and write English

Job Type: Full time Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
