Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and vans, to deliver freight to various locations efficiently and on schedule
Load and unload cargo using provided equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to maintain safety standards and report any maintenance needs promptly
Verify delivery orders, documentation, and freight manifests to ensure accuracy before departure and upon arrival
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve issues quickly




Maintain detailed records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and freight movements for compliance and tracking purposes
Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a safe working setting at all times

Skills
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating vehicles
Knowledge of freight handling procedures and proper loading/unloading techniques
Basic automotive repair skills to perform minor vehicle maintenance or troubleshoot issues as needed
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and delivery verification
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers
Physical stamina to lift heavy packages, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks comfortably
