Brokel Stainless Ltd. has been a trusted stainless-steel fabricator in Western Canada for over 40 years. We are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team in Edmonton.

Duties & Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC brake press equipment
Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and measurements
Form stainless steel and other sheet metal components accurately to specifications
Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments as required
Perform quality checks to ensure dimensions, angles, and finishes meet requirements
Handle and organize raw materials and completed parts
Work closely with welders, fabricators, drafting, and production staff
Maintain a clean and secure work area
Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
Assist with other shop duties as required

The Successful Candidate Will Have
Previous experience operating a brake press, preferably in a custom fabrication workplace
Experience working with stainless steel and sheet metal
Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring tools accurately




Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Good understanding of brake press tooling, bends, and forming techniques
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team setting
Strong attendance and reliability
Safety-conscious approach to all work
Forklift and overhead crane experience are considered assets
