We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brake Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will operate and maintain press brake machines to shape and form metal components with precision and efficiency. Duties
Set up and operate brake press machinery to bend, form, and shape metal sheets according to detailed specifications
Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders and work instructions to determine proper machine settings and procedures
Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards
Conduct routine, in-process inspections of finished parts for accuracy, surface finish, and structural integrity using quality inspection tools
Perform preventive maintenance on press brake equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance
Follow all processes and procedures in place and identify areas for continuous improvements
Compliance and understanding of all Quality,



Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures
Collaborate with team members on assembly processes where necessary, supporting overall manufacturing goals

Requirements
Proven experience operating brake press machines in a manufacturing or metal fabrication setting
Ability to read drawings and work instructions accurately and utilize measurement devices effectively
Basic understanding of quality inspection standards and techniques for ensuring high-quality output
Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools for adjustments and minor repairs
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
