The Spa Facility Supervisor will directly oversee the Fairmont Spa, Nordic Spa, fitness centre, and hotel pool facilities, while leading the Spa & Fitness Attendants, Nordic Attendants, and Pool Attendants. This position will also oversee the Spa Reception, Reservations, and Spa provider team where necessary. luxury 5-star service to the respective teams.Assist in the recruitment, development, and training of all Spa Attendants, Nordic Attendants, and Pool AttendantsEnsure guest satisfaction at all times by ensuring that safety and service is always the spa's first priorityAssist in the development and implementation of facility operations in line with luxury standardsEnsure that all spa facilities, treatment rooms, pool area, and retail areas in the hotel are in peak condition at all times (maintenance and cleanliness).Ensure service excellence through facility audits/evaluations and follow-up.Ensure effective and timely communication among all spa departments and throughout the hotel through weekly/monthly department communication meetings.Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing, promotions, and sales techniques.Act as a Trainer where required and implement effective training plans for Spa Attendants, Nordic Attendants, and Pool AttendantsReview daily productivity and approve payroll.Ensure full understanding of spa operations and attend hotel operation meetings as required.Conduct development and performance management discussions as required in a timely manner.Offer support and supervision for all spa departments as requiredCarry out any other duties and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsService focused personality is essential; experience is an assetMinimum of 5 years' experience in luxury spa or hospitality industryMinimum of 2 years experience in supervisory position in a spa or hospitality industryA passion for spa and wellnessDiploma or Degree in hospitality or related field an assetCareer-minded individual with strong personal initiative and a desire to achieve the department's vision and goalsHighly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, changing environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with a professional appearance and demeanor.Energetic individual who is able to prioritize to complete many diverse tasks concurrentlyComputer literacy in Office, Word, ExcelPrevious experience in booking software an assetAdditional InformationYour team and working environment:Work in a wellness-focused, team-based environment that is dedicated to providing 5-Star service and care for our guests.
