Job Description:The skilled carpenter will work cooperatively with other site staff and sub-trades under the direction of the Lead Carpenter, Site Supervisor and Project Manager.Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hourKey Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying sub-flooring and installing walls and roofing systemsFitting and installing trim, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardwareMeasuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutesRepairing and renovating wooden structuresReading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketchesInside finishingDaily general site clean upMaterial HandlingTake direction from the lead carpenter and site supervisorSet-up and tear down of temporary structures (ex. Scaffolding)Use of power toolsKey Attributes of a Skilled Carpenter:Valid Ontario driver's license,
