Health Bloom Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production/Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Production/Machine Operator will be responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining quality standards, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ensuring daily production targets are achieved.

The successful candidate must be dependable, able to work independently, follow written procedures, maintain a clean production environment, and take responsibility for producing high-quality products according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate capsule filling and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform machine setup, adjustments, cleaning, and changeovers.
- Change machine parts independently following proper procedures.
- Learn machine operation and perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments.
- Monitor equipment during production to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Identify and report equipment issues, production concerns, or material shortages to management.
- Notify management before running out of capsules, materials, or supplies to prevent production delays.
- Meet daily production targets and quality requirements.
- Complete batch records, production documentation, and required paperwork accurately.
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Complete cleaning and other assigned production tasks when equipment is not running.
- Ask a supervisor for additional work when assigned equipment is unavailable.
- Remain productive during working hours and support overall team production goals.





Production Expectations The Production/Machine Operator is expected to achieve the following production output during an 8-hour shift:

Powder Filled Capsules:

- 60,000 + capsules per shift

Separated Capsules:

- 50,000–60,000 + capsules per shift

Production/Machine Operators are expected to communicate with management before running out of materials or supplies to avoid unnecessary production delays. GMP & Hygiene Requirements
- Follow all Valuable Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company hygiene requirements.
- Proper handwashing must be followed before entering production and whenever required.
- Hair nets must be worn at all times while in production areas.
- Lab coats must be worn only while working in production areas.
- Lab coats must be removed during lunch, scheduled breaks, and washroom breaks.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment, including gloves and other safety equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean production area and prevent contamination risks.
- Follow all sanitation and hygiene procedures.

Production Area Rules
- Personal phones are not permitted at the machine or anywhere in the production area.
- Phones must remain with personal belongings during working hours.
- Headphones and ear buds are not permitted in production areas.
- Ear plugs will be provided if required.

Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, pharmaceutical, supplement, food production,



or packaging experience preferred.
- Experience operating capsule filling equipment is an asset.
- Ability to learn machine operation and independently complete machine part changes.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written instructions, SOPs, and batch documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to report issues promptly.

Education & Language Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous production experience preferred.
- Experience working in a GMP-regulated environment is an asset.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to understand and follow written work instructions, SOPs, batch records, and safety procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production requirements, safety concerns, and quality issues.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand movements related to production activities.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to powders, particles, allergens, and odours.
