Reporting to the Health & Safety Strategy and Governance team, the Health & Safety Project Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and deployment of national Health & Safety programs, projects, and initiatives. The incumbent plays a key role in ensuring the successful execution of H&S; priorities by coordinating activities, monitoring progress, managing project documentation, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders across the organization.

What you will do

- Participate in the planning, coordination, and monitoring of Health & Safety programs, including the EQSST recognition programs.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of project timelines, deliverables, action plans, and associated risks.
- Manage and organize documentation related to H&S; programs and projects.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including action plans, meeting minutes, decision logs, and issue registers.
- Support the deployment of national H&S; campaigns and initiatives across project sites.
- Coordinate the activities and work plan of the Health and Wellness Committee.
- Coordinate communications related to H&S; projects, campaigns, and initiatives.
- Monitor industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the visibility and participation of the H&S; function.
- Follow up with H&S; Coordinators to track progress on initiatives and identify implementation challenges.
- Collect, promote, and share best practices, innovations, and success stories from project sites.
- Document lessons learned, challenges encountered, and recommendations arising from initiative deployments.
- Participate in the development,



updating, and standardization of departmental procedures, guides, and tools.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative and operational processes within the department.
- Collaborate with Communications, Training, Human Resources, Operations, and Operational Performance teams when H&S; initiatives require cross-functional support.
- Assist with the logistical planning and coordination of national events, workshops, and meetings.

This role could be for you if you have

- A university degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Experience in project coordination, continuous improvement, or program management (considered an asset).
- Solid initiative, resourcefulness, and a high sense of accountability.
- The ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to follow through on commitments and deadlines.
