Become an integral part of NEOFACS as an In-House Legal Counsel in a full time contract position. Focus on legal advice and representation for child protection initiatives across various communities. This role calls for a lawyer licensed in Ontario, ideally with two years of experience dealing with child welfare law or family law proceedings.

The successful candidate will demonstrate robust litigation and negotiation skills, alongside a commitment to fostering productive relationships in a diverse team. Your passion for child protection will guide your contributions to the agency's mission. Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic legal counsel to child protection staff
Represent NEOFACS in court at all levels
Apply Child, Youth and Family Services Act expertise
Engage in effective negotiation and conflict resolution
Travel to serve various NEOFACS catchment areas Requirements:
LL.B. or J.D. degree with Law Society membership
Relevant experience in child protection law
Knowledge of PHIPA and related regulations
Robust organizational and communication skills
G Class driver's license required, vehicle access preferred Support child well-being through legal advocacy and representation at NEOFACS.
