Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for preparing orders for production using CAD, CAM, and ERP software, enabling our Operators to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a full-time salaried position with competitive pay and advantages.

Responsibilities
Produce shop drawings using CAD software
Utilize CAM software to generate G-Code programs for CNC Machines
Navigate ERP software for inventory availability and assignment
Prepare Work Order packages for Machine Operators
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Collaborate with engineers and designers to optimize machining processes if necessary

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role
Proficient in using CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines
Knowledge of operating CNC machines, drilling and milling machines is a plus




Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
Steel product knowledge is an asset
Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
