Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at Homestead Co-op under Apple Cleaning Services. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming setting across our facilities. Your efforts will ensure that our spaces are hygienic, well-organized, and compliant with safety standards, contributing to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike.

Duties
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the facility
Conduct thorough commercial cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to uphold hygiene standards
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly to management
Ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored for efficient operations
Follow health and safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination




Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested

Requirements
Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety procedures
Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers safely
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
Has transportation
Has clear Police Record
