Job Summary

Juicy Birds Brampton is seeking a dedicated and energetic Cashier / Line Cook to join our dynamic team. This role combines customer service with food preparation, ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a rapid-paced environment. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to company standards, maintaining quality and presentation
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance sales
Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service




Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Qualifications
Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or food service preferred; restaurant or food industry experience is a plus
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and qualified demeanor
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Kitchen experience or food handling certification is desirable but not mandatory
