Auger Drill Helper/Driller Trainee – Geotechnical & Environmental Drilling

Part time to start leading to full time.

Excellent West Drilling is seeking a Drill Helper/Driller Trainee to join our team assistanting the driller with performing geotechnical and environmental drilling services throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.

Requirements

Experience in these areas condsidered an asset:
Hollow stem and solid stem auger drilling
Geotechnical sampling
SPT sampling
Shelby Tube sampling
Installation of instrumentation
Grouting procedures
General operation and maintenance of drilling equipment
Working safely and efficiently in field environments

Qualifications

Successful candidates must
Possess a valid driver’s license
Be able to work outdoors in varying conditions
Demonstrate strong safety awareness and professionalism
Meet all pre-employment requirements,



including:
Drug and alcohol screening
Driver’s abstract review
