Datoff Construction is a long-standing General Contractor in Northern B.C. We bring pride in our projects and enjoy a lively work setting. We work in Commercial, Civil, and Industrial Construction and are seeking experienced Carpenters and Carpenter Apprentices.
Responsibilities:
Knowledgeable in building code and construction math
Experience in preparing material take-offs and reading blueprints
Assist with demolition and debris removal
Erecting and disassembling scaffolding
Experience in wood and steel stud framing application
Experience in finish carpentry skills
Effectively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may affect the completion of a job
Practice workplace safety
Qualifications:
2 + years’ experience in construction
Knowledgeable in the use and application of tools and materials for job completion
Ability to work well with a team and on your own
Ability to communicate and interact both verbally and in writing
A keen eye for detail and positive decision-making
Ability to complete work projects on time and in an effective manner
Ability to take and follow instructions from supervisor
