Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team to in a vibrant café environment. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing transactions efficiently.
Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining areas.
Assist with food preparation and serving of light snacks or pastries as needed.




Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.

Experience
Previous barista experience is a must.
Background in the food industry is advantageous, with familiarity in food handling and safety practices.
Robust customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
