Bilingual Credit Analyst – French/English

Rate: $30/hour Incorporated

Location: Toronto, ON

Work Model: Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite

Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Credit Analyst to support credit review and lending activities within a Private Banking setting. This role will focus on reviewing credit submissions, identifying documentation gaps, analyzing financial information and ensuring credit packages are complete and ready for approval.

Key Responsibilities
Review credit submissions for completeness, accuracy and adherence to lending policies
Identify and resolve documentation or credit gaps prior to submission
Prepare and structure credit applications for approval
Review approved credit facilities and conditions prior to advancement
Analyze financial statements and complex credit structures
Provide guidance to frontline banking teams on credit and lending requirements
Work closely with Credit Risk, Lending, Operations and Private Banking stakeholders
Manage multiple credit files within tight timelines

Must-Have Qualifications
Bilingual French and English




Solid previous experience in credit analysis, credit writing or lending
Solid understanding of personal and/or commercial lending principles
Experience reviewing and analyzing financial statements
Solid understanding of credit risk and lending documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice to Have
Private Banking or high-net-worth lending experience
Experience with complex credit structures
Commercial lending experience
Knowledge of capital markets
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related discipline
